Marcello Camerin (born June 8, 1975 in Marburg ) is a German author , lecturer , musician and entrepreneur .

Life

After graduating from high school in 1993, he founded the company Camerin, which he expanded to include additional branches over the next few years. In 2001 he expanded the business and established a franchise system for Italian ice cream with the Camerin system headquarters . The company received media attention u. a. for the production of cider ice cream.

In 2007 Marcello Camerin was appointed as a lecturer in the field of marketing , personnel and project management at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology for Operations Management . In the same year the  Philipps University of Marburg followed , where he works as a guest lecturer in the Department of Economics, Marketing Department. Marcello Camerin is also a lecturer at the Business Academy Marburg , the Steinbeis Transfer Institute Marburg at the Steinbeis University Berlin , the  Hesse-Thuringia Commercial Academy and the Gera-Eisenach Cooperative State University (work sciences , workplace design). He was appointed to various examination boards by the Rhine-Main Chamber of Crafts and the Magdeburg Chamber of Crafts .

In 2010, Marcello Camerin completed a trainer training at the management consultancy Guder & Partner in Marburg and in the following years, in addition to his teaching activities, went self-employed as a trainer and coach. In 2011 he became a specialist lecturer for corporate strategy and marketing at the Research Institute for Management Technology, in which he also works as a lecturer for value creation management and innovation management. The following year he completed an apprenticeship as a Quality Management System Auditor / QMA-TÜV at the TÜV Süd Academy.

In 2015, after completing his degree in business administration at the Frankfurt Education Academy , he completed his master’s degree in economics with distinction at the Ludwigshafen University of Applied Sciences with a focus on project management , marketing , human resources management and business ethics . The systematic design of (customer) services with mainly social-scientific questions by Marcello Camerin was a topic for the future field "Innovative working world" of the HIGHTECH strategy of the federal government .

In 2016, Camerin published the book Growing with Services: How you can noticeably improve your company's competitive position with the 5-step method . In the same year he was also appointed by the BMBF as an expert for “technology-based service systems”.

In 2017, Marcello Camerin, after being appointed first lieutenant in June 2013, was appointed to the officer rank of captain of the army of the Bundeswehr in the career of reserve officers . Use: Federal Office for Infrastructure, Environmental Protection and Services of the Bundeswehr - Dept. Finance and Controlling . social commitment

From 2010 to 2012 Marcello Camerin was chairman of the board of the Wirtschaftsjunioren Marburg. In addition, he volunteers for the youth education center of the city of Marburg in the sponsorship project "Alt hilf Jung".

In 2012, on the initiative of Brigadier General Volker Bescht , Marcello Camerin and Lieutenant Colonel Frank Hille founded the non-profit development association Division Fast Forces eV and has been its deputy chairman ever since.

Awards

In 2003, Marcello Camerin was awarded the prize for industry-related e-business solutions by the Hessian Minister of Economic Affairs for his marketing strategies.

In 2008 he received an award in the field of "Systematic Service Design" for the project "Service Engineering - Innovation Drivers in SMEs" from the Federal Ministry of Education and Research .

In 2012 Marcello Camerin received an award for the three-year research project ProDik (Integrated Productivity Management for Services in Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises), which was funded by the BMBF, among others.

In 2013, the Camerin system center was named "Company of the Month" by the Hessian state government for exemplary social commitment .

In 2015 he received the Hessian State Prize for the exemplary employment and integration of severely disabled people.

Artistic engagement

Parallel to his entrepreneurship, Camerin works artistically under the name "Marcello". In 2004 he produced the CD “endless love” with 20 love songs he sang on the piano and in 2016 - now on drums accompanied by a band - the work “Frankfurt Hotel”, again with 20 love songs.
