Mary Frann

Mary Frances Luecke (born February 27, 1943 in St. Louis , Missouri , † September 23, 1998 in Beverly Hills , California ) was an American film and television actress .

biography

She was already working as a child model during her school days and was awarded the title of Missouris Junior Miss in 1961 at the age of 18. She later studied drama at Northwestern University in Illinois and worked as a weather reporter for the television station NBC .

In 1964 she made her acting debut in an episode of the television series Kraft Suspense Theater . In the following years she worked as an active actress in series and television films. Well-known among them were Quincy , Detective Rockford - a call is enough , Fantasy Island and the thriller Deadly Charm from 1990. 1986 and 1987 she was considered for the titles of Miss USA and Miss Universe .

Her last role was in an episode of X-Factor: The Unbelievable as a greedy broker. She died of a heart attack on September 23, 1998 in her Beverly Hills home . She was buried in Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City , California .
