The Meitetsu Group ( Japanese 名 鉄 グ ル ー プ , Meitetsu Gurūpu ) is a Japanese group based in Nagoya . It is structured around the Nagoya Tetsudō (Meitetsu) railway company . Its affiliated companies operate in the transportation, real estate, retail, leisure and cultural sectors, with most of them aiming to add value to the Meitetsu rail network in Aichi and Gifu prefectures .

In the 2017/18 financial year, the Meitetsu Group comprised 119 companies, which together employed 29,904 people and generated sales of 604.804 billion yen (approx. 4.697 billion euros ).
