The Mellrichstadter Forest is located about twelve kilometers northwest of the eponymous city of Mellrichstadt , between Rhön and Grabfeld. The Sulz flows through the community-free area . The highest point in the Mellrichstadter Forest is the Heufurter head with a height of 516 m above sea level. NHN .
