Michał Mak (born November 14, 1991 in Sucha Beskidzka ) is a Polish football player . The striker is under contract with Wisła Krakow . His twin brother Mateusz also earns his living as a football player.

Career

Mak first played for Babia Góra Sucha Beskidzka and later in the youth department of Wisła Kraków . He had his first professional appearances from October 2010 in the jersey of Ruch Radzionków in the second-class first division . After moving to GKS Bełchatów in the winter break of the 2011/12 season , Mak made his debut on March 17, 2012 in a 2-2 draw against Wisła Kraków in the Ekstraklasa . After the 2012/13 season he rose with Bełchatów to the 1st league, in which he made a significant contribution to the championship and the associated direct resurgence in the following season with 14 goals. In the 2015/16 season Mak moved to Lechia Gdańsk . There he was able to establish himself as a regular player and scored six goals in 24 league games in his first season.

At the end of August 2016 Mak was loaned to the German second division Arminia Bielefeld for one year , but the loan contract was terminated at the beginning of 2017. The 2017/18 season he played at Śląsk Wrocław and then returned to Gdańsk.

In the summer of 2019, the striker then moved on to the first division and former youth club Wisła Krakow .

National team

Mak completed a game for the Polish U21 national team in their 2-1 defeat against Greece on June 6, 2011 .
