Michael Rapaport
Michael David Rapaport (born March 20, 1970 in New York City ) is an American actor and comedian .
Life
After high school, Rapaport went to Los Angeles to work as a stand-up comedian . He had his first major film role in 1992 in Zebrahead . For this film, Rapaport was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award for Best Actor in 1993. In the years that followed, he starred in films such as True Romance , Beloved Aphrodite and Deep Blue Sea .
From 2001 to 2004 Rapaport played a leading role in the television series Boston Public . Afterwards he was seen in the sitcom Family Quarrel de Luxe , which is also broadcast under the name Hinterm Sofa at the front on RTL II . In the fourth season of the series Prison Break , Rapaport played an agent for the Ministry of Homeland Security .
Furthermore, Rapaport speaks in the intro of the music video What Happened? the hardcore band H 2 O . He also played in the music video of Jay-Z feat. BLACKstreet - The City Is Mine and in the video Wanna (But I Won't) by The High and Mighty from the album The Highlight Zone .
In 2011 Rapaport first took over the direction of a documentary. Beats Rhymes & Life - The Travels of A Tribe Called Quest traces the development of the hip-hop group A Tribe Called Quest from its foundation to the reunion tour in 2008.
