Tom Thompson, an architect, lives with his mother. He can't find a job. Tom has been in love with Julie DeMarco since high school . When a former schoolmate dies, Tom is supposed to give the eulogy. He doesn't remember the dead person, but takes the chance to meet Julie. After the funeral service, Tom sleeps with the dead man's mother.
Reviews
James Berardinelli wrote on movie-reviews.colossus.net that the film contained numerous references to The Graduation , but without the warmth and humor of the older film. There would only be a few funny scenes. The direction is uninspired.
Roger Ebert wrote in the Chicago Sun-Times that the comedy was more stupid than The Graduation .
