Jans started playing football at Dragør Boldklub when she was six , playing in a boys' team. After stints in the youth team of Taarnby Boldklub and the youth academy of Brøndby IF , she played first division football at BSF . From 2014 to 2017 she then played for Brøndby IF. With the club she became Danish champions in 2014/2015 and 2016/2017 and won the trophy in 2014, 2015 and 2017 .

At European level, she was eliminated in her first season with Brøndby in the 2014/15 UEFA Women's Champions League in the semi-finals against eventual winners 1. FFC Frankfurt , where she was only used in the 7-0 away game. On the way there she had her first CL appearance in the quarter-finals in the second leg against Linköpings FC . In 2015/16 , however, it was already over in the round of 32. After a 1: 4 defeat against Czech champions Slavia Prague , the 1: 0 home win was not enough. Things went a little better in 2016/17 where they at least survived the sixteenth-finals against SKN St. Pölten with a 2-0 away win and a 2-2 at home. In the round of 16 they then lost 1-0 at Manchester City and only made a 1-1 draw at home. Her performance in the two games impressed those in charge at Manchester City, so they signed her for the 2017/18 season. However, she only made a few appearances in the league and Champions League and moved to FC Rosengård in Sweden at the beginning of January 2019 , where she was rarely used. For the 2020 season she received a contract with Vittsjö GIK .

National teams

On May 15, 2009 she had her first appearance in the Danish U-16 team at an international tournament in her home country against Scotland. At the end of June / beginning of July, she and the team took part in the Nordic Cup in Sweden , in which they only finished last.

In October 2009 she took part with the U-17 team in the first qualifying round for the U-17 European Championship 2010 , which the Danes successfully finished as sixth-best group runner-up. In the second qualifying round in April 2010, in which the Danes failed against later European champions Spain, they were not used. In October 2010 and April 2011, she then took part in both qualifying rounds for the 2011 U-17 European Championship . While they finished the first round at a tournament in Hungary with three wins as group winners and they scored their first international goal in a 6-0 win against Moldova, they could not use their home advantage in the second round and lost the last decisive game against Germany with 0: 3. This was their last game for the U-17 team.

On August 23 and 25, 2011, she played her first two games for the U-19 team in Switzerland, which ended 3-0 and 0-2 against the Swiss. In September she took part with the team in the first qualifying round for the U-19 European Championship 2012 , which they successfully completed with three wins at a tournament in Latvia . In the second qualifying round in Serbia in April 2012 , they finished second behind the home team, but were still qualified for the finals as the best runner-up in the group. At the finals in Turkey they survived the group stage with three 1-0 wins, but then lost 3-1 in the semi-finals against eventual European champions Sweden. The qualification for the U-19 European Championship 2013 was also successful and in 2013 she took part in a U-19 European Championship final for the second time. In Wales they could only win the first game against the hosts, but lost the other two group games against England and France, so that they were eliminated as third in the group. This ended her time as a junior national player.

On November 24, 2011, she had her first appearance in the senior national team when she came on as a substitute for Nanna Christiansen in the 79th minute in the third qualifying match for the 2015 World Cup against Malta . But she had to wait nine months for her next assignment. Only in the third to last game of qualification, the 1-0 against Iceland , she was substituted on for Christiansen four minutes before the end of the game. The Danes, who had qualified as group favorites due to their performances at the EM 2013, were ultimately only third in the group behind Switzerland , which qualified for the first time, and Iceland . At the Algarve Cup 2015 she then had two longer appearances for the first time, when she was substituted on in the second half of the last group game against Portugal and the game for fifth place against Norway . In 2015, she only made another brief appearance in the 3: 3 friendly game against Sweden in April. On January 25, 2016, she had her first starting eleven in a game against the Netherlands during a training camp in Turkey and played over 90 minutes.

This was followed by three appearances in the group matches and in the game for 7th place at the Algarve Cup 2016 and three appearances at the Sincere Cup 2016 in China in October 2016, but none in the successful qualification for the 2017 European Championship . In between, she played her only game for the U-23 team on August 10, 2016, which was won 5-1 against Finland. After three substitutions in the group games as well as the game for third place at the Algarve Cup 2017 , she was nominated for the 2017 European Championship finals in June 2017 . At the EM, however, she was only used in the second group game against the Netherlands.

In the subsequent qualification for the 2019 World Cup, she only had two short appearances in the group games. Your team was then eliminated in the playoffs against the Netherlands.
