Mirjam Weerd
Mirjam Weerd (born September 7, 1975 ) is a former triathlete from the Netherlands and multiple national champion.
Career
Mirjam Weerd won the triathlon at half the Ironman distance in her age group in Monaco in 2007 ( Ironman 70.3 : 1.9 km swimming, 90 km cycling and 21.1 km running) and qualified for a starting place at the 2008 World Cup in Hawaii .
Professional athlete since 2010
She has been a professional athlete since 2010. In 2012 she became the Dutch triathlon champion in the middle distance for the fourth time in a row.
At the end of 2016, the then 41-year-old won the Challenge Family's “European Bonus Ranking” . It has not appeared internationally since 2016.
