Solomun

Solomun (* 27. December 1975 in Travnik as Solomun ) is a DJ and music producer in the fields of House and Deep House.

Life

Born in Yugoslavia, Solomun grew up in Hamburg .

In 2006, together with Adriano Trolio, he founded the music label Diynamic , which publishes music in the fields of electro and house. His tracks have appeared on the labels Dessous , Sonar Kollektiv , Compost Records , Get Physical Music , Phil E , Mobilee and Four Twenty .

In 2011, his Remix Around by Noir & Haze was voted the best remix of the year by Resident Advisor and came second in the German magazine Groove in the vote for the best remix of the year.

In 2012 he released a mix compilation on Watergate Music . He also organized the Diynamic Neon Nights every Tuesday in Sankeys on Ibiza in the summer of 2012 . Also in 2012 he was named Best Producer at the DJ Awards in Ibiza. In December 2012, it has named the magazine Mixmag for DJ of the year , he also won the Brazilian Cool Award for Best DJ internationally . In 2013 he was voted the winner in the Deep House DJ category in the public voting of the DJ Awards . He also started his first own residency in Pacha on Ibiza in 2013 under the name Solomun + 1 .

Since 2018 he can be seen as a character in the game GTA Online, the multiplayer part of the video game Grand Theft Auto V , as a DJ. He released his new song "Customer Is King" together with Rockstar Games in a GTA-V animation in which he can be seen as a DJ in the mission "Club".
