Mulazzo is an Italian municipality with 2333 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Massa-Carrara in Tuscany .

Location of Mulazzo in the province of Massa-Carrara

Mulazzo is located in the Lunigiana landscape approx. 130 km northwest of the regional capital Florence , approx. 40 km northwest of Massa and approx. 35 km northwest of Carrara . The Magra River spends 10 km in the municipal area. The municipality is in the climatic classification of Italian municipalities in Zone E, 2 365 GG.

The districts (frazioni) include Arpiola, Busatica, Campoli, Canossa, Casa di Loia, Castagnetoli, Castevoli, Gavedo, Groppoli, La Pieve, Lusuolo, Montereggio, Parana, Pozzo, Talavorno and Terceretoli.

The neighboring municipalities are Calice al Cornoviglio ( SP ), Filattiera , Pontremoli , Rocchetta di Vara (SP), Tresana , Villafranca in Lunigiana and Zeri .
