The Municipio Sica Sica is a district in the La Paz department in the South American Andean state of Bolivia .
Location in the vicinity
The Municipio Sica Sica is one of seven Municipios of the Province of Aroma and is located in the southeastern part of the Province. It is bordered by the municipality of Patacamaya in the northwest , the municipality of Umala in the west, the province of Gualberto Villarroel in the south, the Oruro department in the southeast and the Loayza province in the east and north .
The municipality has 100 localities ( localidades ), the central place of the municipality is Sica Sica with 3,086 inhabitants in the northwestern part of the municipality. Larger towns in the municipality are Lahuachaca with 5,874 inhabitants and Cala Cala with 2,087 inhabitants in 2012.

The Municipio Sica Sica is located on the Bolivian Altiplano at an average altitude of 3800 m , between the Andean mountain ranges of the Cordillera Occidental in the west and the Cordillera Central in the east.
The mean average temperature of the municipality is 9 ° C, the annual precipitation is about 600 mm (see climate diagram El Alto). The region has a distinct daytime climate, the monthly average temperatures fluctuate only slightly between 7 ° C in July and 11 ° C in December. The monthly precipitation is between less than 10 mm in the months of June and July and close to 100 mm from December to February.

71.9 percent of households have a radio, 14.4 percent a television, 43.4 percent a bicycle, 1.0 percent a motorcycle, 4.6 percent a car, 0.5 percent a refrigerator, and 1.7 percent a telephone. (2001)
