NGC 7451 is a barred spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SBbc in the constellation Pegasus in the northern sky . It is estimated to be 306 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of about 90,000 ly.
In the same area of the sky are the galaxies NGC 7427 , NGC 7430 , NGC 7469 , IC 5283 , among others .
The object was discovered on December 7, 1865 by Otto von Struve .
