NGC 7430 is a galaxy of Hubble type S in the constellation Pegasus at the northern sky . It is estimated to be 306 million light years from the Milky Way and about 35,000 light years across.
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 7427 and NGC 7451 .
The object was discovered on August 27, 1864 by Heinrich Louis d'Arrest .
