NGC 7430 is a galaxy of Hubble type S in the constellation Pegasus at the northern sky . It is estimated to be 306 million light years from the Milky Way and about 35,000 light years across.
In the same area of ​​the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 7427 and NGC 7451 .

The object was discovered on August 27, 1864 by Heinrich Louis d'Arrest .
