NGC 7409 is a lenticular galaxy of the Hubble type SB0 in the constellation Pegasus in the northern sky . It is estimated to be 307 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of about 55,000 ly.
In the same area of the sky are the galaxies NGC 7411 and NGC 7415 .
The object was discovered by Albert Marth on September 20, 1863 .
