NGC 7402 is a lenticular galaxy of the Hubble type S0 in the constellation Pisces on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 214 million light-years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of about 45,000 ly. a. the galaxies NGC 7396 , NGC 7397 , NGC 7398 , NGC 7401 .
The object was discovered by RJ Mitchell on October 2, 1856 .
