NGC 7406 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sc in the constellation Aquarius on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 77 million light years from the Milky Way and about 25,000 light years in diameter.
The object was discovered by Albert Marth on August 25, 1864 .
