Demographic data
According to the 2010 census, the then 5967 inhabitants were distributed over 3299 households. The population density was 1864.7 inh / km². 88.5% of the population identified themselves as whites, 1.9% as African American , 0.2% as Indians and 1.3% as Asian Americans . 5.4% said they belonged to another ethnic group and 2.6% to several ethnic groups. 22.6% of the population were Hispanics or Latinos .
