European Natural Track Luge Championships 1975

The 5th FIL Natural Track Luge European Championship took place from February 5 to 9, 1975 in Feld am See in Austria . The “Mirnock 73” toboggan run was 1,094.5 meters long.

The Austrian Alfred Kogler was European champion in the men's singles. The silver medal went to the defending champion Erich Graber from Italy, who was European champion in doubles with Robert Jud . Bronze went to the Austrian Helmut Hutter .

As in the first four European championships, the title in women's singles went to Austria again this year and for the fourth time in a row the Austrians won all three medals. Klara Niedertscheider , who was European champion in 1971 and 1974, won the gold medal for the third time. The silver medal went to Annemarie Ebner , who had also won silver in 1971 and bronze in 1974. The bronze medal was won by Elfriede Pirkmann , who was European champion in 1973 and second in the previous year.

The Italians Robert Jud and Erich Graber , who had already reached second place last year, became European champions in the doubles. The silver medal went to the Austrians Engelbert Fuchs and Gottfried Kreuzer , bronze went to their compatriots Ernst Stangl and Erwin Eichelberger .
