Nicole Hofer (born May 22, 1986 in Entlebuch ; married Nicole Hecht ) is a former Swiss cyclist, duathlete and triathlete .

Career

Nicole Hofer from Entlebuch was active in cycling and became Swiss mountain champion in road racing in 2003. Nicole Hofer has been running a triathlon since 2004.

Junior Vice World Champion Duathlon 2004

In May 2004 she became vice world champion in the junior duathlon.

In 2008 she switched from the short triathlon distance (Olympic distance: 1.5 km swimming, 40 km cycling and 10 km running) to the middle distance (2 km swimming, 80 km cycling and 20 km running) and started mainly in the following years when applying over these two distances.

Nicole Hofer started for the "EWZ Power Team". In June 2016 she finished third in the Swissman Xtreme Triathlon .

Private

She studied economics at the University of Hagen .
She has been married to her long-term partner, the former triathlete Mathias Hecht (* 1980), since August 2016, and they both live in Willisau .
