Niendorf is a district of the town of Oebisfelde-Weferlingen in the Börde district in Saxony-Anhalt .

geography

Niendorf is a street village . It is located in the Drömling Nature Park . The high-speed line Hanover – Berlin passes Niendorf north. Oebisfelde is around six kilometers to the west, Bergfriede one kilometer to the east. Bösdorf is six kilometers south-east .

history

The municipality of Niendorf first belonged to the Gardelegen district . In 1939 Niendorf had 307 inhabitants. In 1952 the district of Klötze came into being . On April 14, 1994 Niendorf became part of the city of Oebisfelde , which on July 1, 1994 joined the newly formed Ohrekreis .

Infrastructure

Niendorf is located on federal highway 188, which runs in an east-west direction . A district road leads to Bösdorf.
