The Niersmühle Weeze was a water mill in Weeze in the Kleve district in North Rhine-Westphalia .

The Niersmühle Weeze was located on the Niers . Above were the Wissen mills, below the Höster mill .

history

The mill was mentioned in documents from Graefenthal Abbey in 1282, 1283 and 1299 as: Mill located near Weeze on the Niers. It belonged to a clergyman at the Xanten monastery named Stefan von Sulen and was given by him as a fief to a certain Johannes de Xantis . With the consent of the owner , he had given his fief mill to the Graefenthal monastery . Notes on the back of the documents related to events in the 15th century. After this time the mill is no longer mentioned.
