The mill waste was one of the inflow Kendel location watermill in the city Goch with undershot waterwheel .
geography
The Mühle zu Müll was located at the tributary of the Kendel, on Moelscher Weg, in the Hommersum district , in the town of Goch, Kleve district , in North Rhine-Westphalia .
The inflow to the Kendel has a height of approx. 16 m above sea level .
history
The first documented mention of the mill can be found in a permit that Duke Wilhelm von Geldern gave to the feudal man Johan v. Zeller gave. It was about the improvement of the water drainage of the mill, which was called quade moelen (bad mill).
About 200 years later, the mill property demonstrably belonged to the Graefenthal monastery , which emerged from the Driesberg house . Probably due to a lack of water, the mill went under later.
