Nina Sjuskowa ( Ukrainian Ніна Зюськова , English transcription Nina Zyuskova; born May 3, 1952 in Kaltschyk , Donetsk Oblast ) is a former Ukrainian sprinter who specialized in the 400-meter run and became an Olympic champion starting for the Soviet Union .

At the Athletics World Cup in Montreal in 1979 , she was with the Soviet team second in the 4 x 400 meter relay .

The following year she celebrated her greatest successes at the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow, when she won the gold medal in the 4 x 400 meter relay with the Soviet team . The Soviet relay was in line with Tetjana Prorotschenko , Tatjana Goishchik , Sjuskowa and Irina Nasarowa with a time of 3: 20.2 minutes against the relay of the GDR (3: 20.4 minutes) and Great Britain (3: 27.5 minutes ) by.
