Nogales is a Spanish municipality ( municipio ) in the province of Badajoz in the autonomous community of Extremadura . In 2016, the municipality had 699 inhabitants on an area of 80.66 km².

The municipality is located west of the Tierra de los Barros landscape around 46 km southeast of the provincial capital Badajoz and 68 km southwest of Mérida in the province of Badajoz at the foot of the Sierra María Andrés .
