Valencia del Mombuey is a Spanish municipality in the province of Badajoz in the Autonomous Community of Extremadura . In 2016, the municipality had 756 inhabitants on an area of ​​75.0 km².

location

The municipality is located near the border with Portugal around 20 km west of Oliva de la Frontera and 16 km southeast of Villanueva del Fresno in the extreme southwest of the Badajoz province . In the south, the municipality is touched by the Río Ardila , which flows into the Guadiana .
