action
In search of happiness, the two students Daniel and Lenny want to try out the theory that positive and negative forces, and thus happiness and unhappiness, always balance each other out in life. At first you play small, harmless pranks on yourself, but this quickly becomes an addiction. The strokes of fate that they inflict on each other are becoming more and more extreme. Soon everything will be too much for Daniel and he wants to get out of the vicious circle. But Lenny has already chosen Daniel himself as the greatest possible victim.

The shooting took place in October 2009 on a total of 10 shooting days in Berlin and Hanover . Venues in Hanover were present among others, the Leibniz University , the Medical University , the New Town Hall , the underground station Kröpcke and üstra -Betriebshof Leinhausen.
Premieres
The screen premiere took place on August 7, 2010 in the Cinemaxx cinema on Nikolaistraße in Hanover . At the ÉCU - The European Independent Film Festival in Paris, Marc Hofmeister won the ÉCU Award in the Best Editing category . At the Tallahassee Film Festival 2011 , the film was nominated in the Best Narrative Short category. In 2011, Nullpunkt was nominated for the Shocking Shorts Award of the TV broadcaster 13th Street Universal , which is presented at the Munich Film Festival , and made it into the final round of the best three films. At the New York City International Film Festival , the film won the Best Narrative Short award for best short film .
