Oberndorf (colloquially: ôbandoʳf ) is a district of the municipality Möhrendorf in the district of Erlangen-Höchstadt in Middle Franconia .
location
The hamlet is located on a right tributary of the Regnitz , which flows 100 meters further east. A service road leads to Möhrendorf (0.6 km northwest).
history
The place was first mentioned in 1340 as "Oberndorf". The manor originally belonged to the von Seckendorff family . In 1375 they sold it to the Nuremberg patrician Leupold Schürstab . In 1540 it finally came to the Tucher . The place was in the Fraisch district of the Brandenburg-Bayreuth Oberamt Baiersdorf . In addition to the manor there were two farmhouses and a sheep farm.
As part of the municipality Edict (early 19th century) Oberdorf was the control district and Rural community Möhrendorf assigned.

The place has been predominantly Protestant since the Reformation and parish after St. Oswald and Martin (Möhrendorf) . The inhabitants of the Roman Catholic denomination are parish according to the Sacred Heart of Jesus (Erlangen) .
