Ockelbo was a Swedish car brand.

Company history

The company of rally driver Lennart Gustafsson and racing driver Erik Lundgren from Ockelbo began producing automobiles in 1957. In 1965 production was stopped after 60 copies were made.

Open two-seaters were made. The lightweight plastic body weighed 34 kilograms and resembled a Ferrari 500 Mondial . The body could be mounted on different chassis from Alfa Romeo , BMW , MG , Peugeot and VW . Various engines from Austin-Healey , Bristol , DKW , Frazer Nash , Lea-Francis , Porsche , Toyota , Volvo and VW were offered.

A vehicle of this brand can be viewed in the Svedinos Bil- & Flymuseum in Ugglarp near Slöinge.
