Australia took part in the 1920 Summer Olympics in Antwerp in Belgium for the first time since the 1904 Olympics as a separate state, separate from New Zealand. Thus, Australian athletes participated in all of the Summer Olympic Games.
For the first time an Australian sibling took part in these games, namely Frank and Lily Beaurepaire .
