Israel participated in the 1968 Summer Olympics in Mexico City with a delegation of 29 athletes (26 men and 3 women) in 20 competitions in four sports.

None of the athletes managed to win a medal. The flag bearer at the opening ceremony was the swimmer Gershon Shefa .
