Bulgaria participated in the 1968 Summer Olympics in Mexico City with 112 athletes (102 men and 10 women) in 69 competitions in 13 sports.

The Bulgarian athletes won two gold, four silver and three bronze medals. Olympic champions were the Greco-Roman wrestlers Petar Kirov in the flyweight division and Bojan Radew in the light heavyweight division.
