The rowing competition in one of the men at the 2012 Olympics in London was from July 28 to August 3, 2012 at the Dorney Lake held. 33 athletes competed.
The rowing regatta, which was held over 2000 meters, began with six heats. The first three made it to the quarter-finals, the remaining rowers started in the hope runs . In each of the three hope runs, the first two rowers were able to qualify for the quarter-finals. The remaining starters made it to the semi-finals E / F.
In the quarter-finals, the first three qualified for the semi-finals A / B, the remaining rowers for the semi-finals C / D.
Six semi-finals were rowed. The first three starters qualified for Finals A, C or E, the rest for Finals B, D or F. Finals B to F were started to determine the placements, and Final A was responsible for the award of medals.
The qualified rowers are highlighted in light green.
