Norway participated in the III. 1932 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid with a delegation of 19 athletes in five disciplines, including 18 men and one woman. With three gold, four silver and three bronze medals, Norway wasthe second most successful nationafter the United States . The flag bearer at the opening ceremony was the Nordic combined skier Johan Grøttumsbråten .
