Canada took part in the X. Winter Olympic Games in 1968 in Grenoble, France, with a delegation of 70 athletes in nine disciplines, 55 of them men and 15 women. With one gold, one silver and one bronze medal, Canada achieved 13th place in the medal table.

The flag bearer at the opening ceremony was ski racer Nancy Greene . Greene became Olympic champion in giant slalom and silver in slalom. The ice hockey team secured the bronze medal .
