The Osaka Expo '70 Stadium ( Japanese 万博 記念 競技場 , Bampaku kinen kyōgijō , "Expo Memorial Stadium ") is a football stadium with an athletics facility in the Japanese city ​​of Suita . It offers space for 21,000 spectators and served as a venue for the Gamba Osaka association from 1980 to 2016.

The Osaka Expo '70 Stadium in Suita , a Japanese city in Osaka Prefecture , was built between 1970 and 1972. Gamba Osaka moved to the newly built Suita City Football Stadium for the new season of the J1 League in spring 2016 . The pure football stadium offers 40,000 seats and cost around ¥ 14 billion (approx. 106 million ).
