Pär Arlbrandt (born November 22, 1982 in Jönköping ) is a former Swedish ice hockey player who was under contract with HV71 in the Svenska Hockeyligan until the end of the 2016/17 season .
Career
Arlbrandt began his career in the junior teams of the HV71 , for which from the 1999/00 season was on the ice in both the J18 Allsvenskan and the SuperElit . In the 2000/01 season he made 14 games for the first team in the Elitserien , Sweden's top division, for the first time . The Swede spent the following year at IF Troja-Ljungby in the second-rate Allsvenskan before returning to HV71 in the 2002/03 season. After he scored only 2 points scorer in 38 games, Arlbrandt was handed over to Rögle BK in the Allsvenskan before the end of the season . There he established himself in the following four years as a strong attacking winger and had the most points in the league in the 2006/07 season with 25 hits and 47 assists. As a result, Arlbrandt was signed for the 2007/08 season by Södertälje SK , but could not build on the performances from previous years in the Elitserien, so he moved to the Austrian club Klagenfurt AC in the EBEL in December 2007 .
In the following season , the right- shooter ran for VIK Västerås HK in the Allsvenskan and was again the best in the league with 77 points scorer. In the run-up to the 2009/10 season , Arlbrandt was committed by Luleå HF , this time the Swede finally managed to transfer his performance to the higher level in the Elitserien and to achieve a total of 37 scorer points in 52 games. After another year in Lulea, he moved within the league to Linköpings HC , where he was on the ice for the following three seasons. In the 2013/14 season , Arlbrandt was the best scorer in the league with 26 goals and 45 assists.
In the summer of 2014, the attacker decided to move to Switzerland and hired EHC Biel , for which he had been running since the 2014/15 season and had a contract until the end of the 2015/16 season, which was terminated prematurely in January 2016 has been. Arlbrandt then moved to his home club HV71 , with whom he became Swedish champion for the first time in his career in the 2016/17 season . Shortly afterwards, Arlbrandt announced his retirement at the age of 35.
