Palm City is a census-designated place (CDP) in Martin County in the US state of Florida with 23,120 inhabitants (as of 2010).

Palm City is separated from the city of Stuart to the east by the St. Lucie River and is about 140 km north of Miami . The CDP is crossed or affected by Interstate 95 , Florida's Turnpike (toll) and Florida State Road 714 .

According to the 2010 census, the 23,120 inhabitants at that time were distributed over 10,806 households. The population density was 610.0 inh / km². 95.4% of the population identified themselves as whites , 1.1% as African American , 0.1% as Indians and 1.6% as Asian Americans . 0.6% said they belonged to another ethnic group and 1.3% to several ethnic groups.
