Pavla Schorná née Matyášová (born January 14, 1980 ) is a Czech biathlete who also specializes in summer biathlon cross running.

Pavla Matyášová starts for St. Město . She took the first time in 2003 at Summer Biathlon World Championships in part and was at the competitions in Forni Avoltri fifth in the sprint, Seventh of the pursuit race and 12th of the Mass Start. A year later in Osrblie , seventh place in the sprint was the best result, the other two results were outside the top ten. The 2005 World Championships in Muonio were more successful with ranks five in the sprint and seven in the pursuit and in the mass start. Together with Tereza Hlavsová , Klára Moravcová and Michaela Balatková , she won the bronze medal in the relay race. The 2006 World Championships in Ufa were even more successful when they won the mixed relay silver medal on the side of Zdeňka Vejnarová , Jaroslav Soukup and Ondřej Moravec . She finished eighth in the sprint and sixth in the pursuit. Another medal with the mixed relay won Matyášová in the same line-up as in 2007 in Otepää, the bronze medal. She also finished sixth in the sprint and seventh in the mass start. In Haute-Maurienne , further top ten results followed in 2008 with seventh place in the sprint and eighth in the pursuit.

Matyášová also often achieved good results at the European Summer Biathlon Championships . In 2005 in Bystřice pod Hostýnem she won the bronze medal in mixed sprint with Moravcová, Soukup and Michal Šlesingr . In 2006 she won silver in the sprint behind Nadeschda Starik in Cēsis and again bronze in mixed with Vejnarová, Luboš Schorný and Soukup. In 2007 in Tysowets she won mixed bronze with Michaela Balatková, Schorný and Pavel Shuchánek . In 2008 the Czech won silver with Barbora Tomešová , Petr Balcar and Schorný. In addition, she won bronze in the singles behind Jekaterina Sidorenko and Starik. At the 2010 Summer Biathlon European Championships in Osrblie , she narrowly missed medals in all three races. She was fifth in the sprint, fourth in the pursuit and mixed relay. The 2011 European Summer Biathlon Championships in Martell were among the most successful championships . Schorná won the sprint and pursuit titles as well as the bronze medal in the mixed relay race with Eva Puskarčíková , Luboš Schorný and Václav Bitala .
