Performance Cars was a South African manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The company was founded in Durban in 2000 . In 2002 the production of automobiles began. The brand name was Performance . The main market was the USA . Production ended in 2009. Twelve vehicles were sold in 2002 and 15 in the following year.

The only model was the 427 Venom . This was the replica of the AC Cobra . Some parts came from the BMW E36 . Various V6 engines and V8 engines from American manufacturers powered the vehicles.
