Coventry Cars was a South African manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The company was based in Pietermaritzburg . It made automobiles in the 1990s. The brand name was Coventry .

vehicles

The Classic model was a Lotus Seven- style vehicle , but longer, wider and higher than the original. The vehicles were powered by a four-cylinder Ford engine with a displacement of 1600 cm³ .

The company also offered the Rotrax from Rotrax Sales and a vehicle similar to the Jeep CJ .
