Cape Advanced Vehicles is a South African manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The company was founded in Cape Town in 1999 . In 2000 the production of automobiles began. The brand name is CAV . Initially there was a collaboration with GTD from England and since 2005 with Auto Futura from Cape Town. For 2000 and 2001, 16 vehicles each have been delivered, for 2002 26 and for 2003 15.

Replicas of the Ford GT 40 are on offer . Various V8 engines from Ford with a choice of 4700 cm³ displacement , 5000 cm³ displacement or 5800 cm³ displacement and up to 400 hp drive the vehicles.
