RM Classics Manufacturing Pty. Ltd. was a South African manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The company was founded in 1987 in Port Elizabeth . Automobile production ran from around 1989 to 1990, from 1989 to 1991 or in the 1990s, depending on the source. The brand name was RM , possibly RM Classics according to other sources . Albert and Saier Automobilbau sold the vehicles in Germany and Tiger Racing in the United Kingdom . In 2010 the company was dissolved.

Replicas were on offer . The most important model was the RM Seven , renamed the RM Eight after a legal dispute with Caterham Cars . This was a Lotus Seven- style roadster .

Other vehicles were similar to the Lamborghini Countach , AC Cobra or models from MG .
