Scarlatti Industries (also Scarlatti Cars ) was a South African manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The Benoni company started manufacturing automobiles in 1983. The brand name was Scarlatti . Production ended in 1984. Other sources give the construction time imprecisely as 1980s.

vehicles

The only model was a four-seat coupe . The basis was the Ford Cortina or the chassis of a Ford made in America. A plastic body was mounted on top. A V6 engine with a capacity of 3000 cm³ propelled the vehicles. There was a choice between a manual transmission and an automatic transmission .
