Cooper Healey is a South African car brand.

Company history

Ricky Cooper heads the Knysna- based company . His sons Marck and Gavin support him in this. In 2011 the production of automobiles began. The brand name is Cooper Healey . Around eleven vehicles have been built so far, with the eleventh vehicle destined for a customer from New Zealand .

Replicas of the Austin-Healey 100 are on offer . A tubular frame forms the basis. An open body made of glass fiber reinforced plastic (fiberglass) is mounted on it. The six-cylinder engine comes from BMW .
