Gobex CC is a South African company and a former manufacturer of automobiles and kit cars .
Company history
The company was founded on September 12, 2006 in Springs . In the same year Steve's Buggies from Amanzimtoti was taken over and their production continued. The brand name was Gobex . Production ended in 2010 or 2011. The company is still considered active.
vehicles
Leisure vehicles were on offer. They were mainly based on the chassis of the VW Beetle . Jasper , Kango and Scorpio were VW buggies . The CJ 2 Jade was similar to the Jeep CJ-2 . The CJ 6 was based on a commercial vehicle chassis from LDV Limited .
