Dynamic Terrain Vehicles is a Bloemfontein- based company and former South African automobile manufacturer.

prehistory

Antonie Brandt, head of a company specializing in trailer construction, made a small vehicle for his children in 1994. Other vehicles of this type followed for customers.

Company history

On July 18, 2002, Brandt founded Dynamic Terrain Vehicles . The industrial production of motor vehicles began. The brand name is DTV . Production ended in 2014. In May 2020 the company was still active.

Models

The first models were made for children and were not street legal.

In 2003, the Roadrunner, the first road-legal model, appeared. The revised Roadrunner 2 n model followed in 2009 . With a wheelbase of 183 cm, it was 335 cm long, 172 cm wide and 184 cm high. A four-cylinder in - line engine from Toyota with 2198 cm³ displacement and 76 kW power drove the rear wheels.

All vehicles were similar to the jeep .
