Peter Brombacher

Peter Brombacher (* 1941 in Freiburg im Breisgau ) is a German actor and radio play speaker .

Life

After his training at the Westphalian Drama School in Bochum , Peter Brombacher had his first engagement at the local theater from 1963 . Further stations in his career were the Stuttgart State Theater under Claus Peymann , the Munich Residenztheater , the German Theater in Hamburg from 1993 to 2000 and the Zurich Theater from 2000 to 2004 . Brombacher has been a member of the Münchner Kammerspiele ensemble since the 2004/05 season . In addition to Peymann, important and well-known directors with whom he worked included Wilfried Minks , Christoph Schlingensief , Christoph Marthaler , Stephan Kimmig and BK Tragelehn .

Brombacher has seldom worked for film and television so far, his activity as a radio play speaker is more extensive, where he has participated in numerous, in some cases award-winning, productions from various broadcasters.

Peter Brombacher is a member of the German Academy of Performing Arts .
