Petra Scheeser
Petra Scheeser (born May 20, 1966 in Munich ) is a German pop singer , songwriter and singing teacher .
Life
Even before graduation Petra Scheeser signed her first record contract and took in the years 1985 and 1987 with the pop group Wind at Euro Vision Song Contest , where she with the titles for all and let the sun in your heart came second to Germany twice.
Since 1991 Scheeser has been working on his own German and English songs with the composer and keyboardist Oliver Hahn as the pop / jazz duo Pao. The albums Twisted (2001) and Alles im Kasten (2012) were created. Scheeser is also the singer of the Hard Days Night Big Band. As the singer of the funk band Jacuzzi, she received the German Rock & Pop Prize “Best Funk and Soul Album” in 2006 and 2014 .
As a studio singer, Petra Scheeser has worked for international TV and film productions such as Bear Brothers (Disney 2003), Jungle Book 2 (Disney 2003), Tinkerbell (Disney 2008), Kiss the Frog (Disney 2009), Frozen - Totally Cheeky (Disney 2014 ), Hannah Montana , Pokémon or Dragon ball Z .
Teaching
Petra Scheeser has been teaching text and singing at the Popakademie Baden-Württemberg since 2005 and at the vocational school for music in Dinkelsbühl since 1998 . She has published her teaching method in the form of a two-volume vocal school (SING!) At Schott Music .
