Pia Hierzegger (born February 2, 1972 in Graz ) is an Austrian theater and film actress as well as director , screenwriter and presenter .

biography

Born in Styria, she belongs to the Graz off-theater group Theater im Bahnhof alongside Michael Ostrowski . In 2004 she played alongside Ostrowski in the Austrian film production Nacktschnecken directed by Michael Glawogger . Hierzegger embodied the role of Mao in it . In 2009, the same staff shot a sequel called Contact High . Glawogger again directed. Pia Hierzegger was also seen in Slumming and in the film adaptation of Wolf Haas ' novel The Bone Man (director: Wolfgang Murnberger ).

In 2007, she won the Augsburg plays competition with the play networked thinking . In the 2009/10 season Pia Hierzegger dramatized the novel The Eternal Life by Wolf Haas for the stage at the Graz Schauspielhaus . In 2011 her play The Merchants of Graz premiered there.

Since 2012 she has moderated the satirical talk show Democracy - The Show on Puls 4 as Manu Stangl together with Michael Ostrowski .

Hierzegger is in a relationship with the actor and cabaret artist Josef Hader , with whom she stood in front of the camera in Der Bone Man , Aufschneider , the ORF city comedy Die Notlüge and for Wilde Maus .
